In the few months we have had the property, it
has undergone quite a transformation. The house has been painted, a lot of the
forest has been cleared, the pier was re-built, much of the land has been cleaned up, and
the kitchen has been completely redone just to name a few. The house and train
station look pretty amazing from across the lake.

The pier
took a couple of weekends to rebuild. We removed all of the boards except the
support pillars and main beams.

The current
project involves trimming the 55+ oak trees that line the driveway and circle the house.
It's hard work, but it's a lot of fun and it's going to look great when we finish!

The entire
house (inside and out) was repainted, but the kitchen has gotten extra attention so far.
The counter tops have been redone, a new sink put in, new lighting installed, and a
new cabinet was installed over the window.

The bedrooms
have been repainted, but not re-wallpapered. (hopefully soon!) Mom has done a great
job of decorating, and all of the new furniture/rugs/artwork all make for a great country
feel.
