My family rented a house on lake Conroe for an extended weekend of relaxation in June of 2002.  We actually had another weekend planned to do it again, but they bought the place in Sealy in the interim.  We canceled it in order to spend our first few weekends out there fixing the place up and moving in.  The house in Conroe was spectacular and a great time was had by all.

We learned a very important life lesson that weekend at Conroe from Drew.  When playing around in the water with Jen and my dad, Drew firmly told my father "Grandpa, people are not for throwing!"

We had no problems relaxing, as you can see by the following pictures.

We also spent a fair amount of the time in the water.  We got incredibly lucky and the weather was gorgeous outside the entire weekend.
